Thankful Challenge - November 7

As I sit here at 5am, with my stomach rumbling and so hungry I could eat a pen, I am grateful that this hunger is because I'm prepping for a colonoscopy, not because I am one of the millions in the U.S. that is homeless and hungry.

As our economy tanked, this number has increased drastically.  Unfortunately, too many of our homeless are families who lost everything including their roof.  It breaks my heart to think of children out there, in this country, suffering from hunger.

We are quick to give aid to other countries when a natural disaster strikes.

What would you call this epidemic?
